 We The People

The Forum's We the People Grant Program makes possible innovative humanities-based projects exploring Alaska’s history, culture and democracy. This exciting program will allow Alaskans to explore subjects such as civic engagement, Alaska history, the development and/or future of our government, Alaska’s defining experiences and heritage, and our diverse culture. Projects may include oral history, films and other media, lectures, exhibits, conferences, public meetings, and research. See We the People Grant Guidelines for more information.

Applications for grant funding are due April 1st. We encourage you to consult with us at any stage in your grant application process. See program guidelines for more information and access to the application site.

Alaska Humanities Forum’s We the People Grant Program is made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) program of the same name.
