Alaska Humanities Forum's General Grants Program makes possible innovative humanities-based projects across Alaska. Project categories include oral history, media, public meetings & exhibits, research, and planning.
Our General Grants Program submission deadline is 10:00p.m. October 1st annually. Should that date fall on a weekend, such as in 2011, then the deadline moves to the following Monday, i.e. October 3, 2011. All applicants, especially first time applicants are strongly encouraged to submit draft applications by September 3, to be reviewed for feedback by the grants officer.
