Radical ideas, unexpected connections, stronger community

Join us for Culture Shift, a monthly series hosted by Alaska Humanities Forum and held at Resolution Brewing Company.

At each event, two guests take turns each speaking on a topic that they are passionate about - an idea that challenges cultural norms or assumptions. Then, the audience takes part in a fun, interactive, and thought-provoking Q&A to find connections between the two.

Tickets are "pay-what-you-can tickets" from $5-$25, with a suggested ticket price of $15. If you have the resources to pay at this price or above, it will help to make sure that we can continue offering prices that are accessible to all.

To mitigate the spread of COVID19 in our community, this Culture Shift is a special edition outdoor event. We will have some heaters available and a bonfire. Dress warm and bring blankets! RSVPing is highly encouraged so that we can contact you in case of bad weather.

COVID 19 Precautions:

  • First and foremost, please stay home if you're feeling sick. We always want to prioritize safety.
  • We are hosting this event outdoors.
