The Art of Powerful Questions is a highly interactive and experiential workshop held in a series of four 2.5-hour sessions. Participants can expect to hone their questioning skills and gain new insights about real dilemmas they are facing in their personal or professional lives.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Understand the power of questions to improve relationships, build community, and unleash creative thinking.
Develop a concrete set of tools for developing questions that
(1) build trust and reduce stress, tension, and conflict in relationships,
(2) inspire new ways of thinking, and
(3) motivate deep engagement.
Use powerful questions to reflect deeply on an issue in their lives where they feel stuck.
Practice both giving and receiving feedback about questions and their impact.
The Alaska Humanities Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that designs and facilitates experiences to bridge distance and difference – programming that shares and preserves the stories of people and places across our vast state, and explores what it means to be Alaskan.
