Join us for the first community conversation in our Science and Us program! This conversation is centered around the guiding question: what is possible when everyone is a scientist? Specifically this conversation centers around representation and belonging in the science field.

This conversation supports an intentional community conversation with a specific purpose: to imagine what is possible when everyone is a scientist. Participants will share an experience around our springboard; 3 self portraits and responses from community members.

Community conversations are a space to bring folks together to connect on a topic and guiding question; using toolkits that are a part of the Kindling Conversation Program for the Alaska Humanities Forum. These spaces are welcome to anyone and participation is encouraged but whatever folks want to share or not, is completely up to them!

Appetizers and drinks will be provided.

The Alaska Humanities Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that designs and facilitates experiences to bridge distance and difference – programming that shares and preserves the stories of people and places across our vast state, and explores what it means to be Alaskan.
