Join us!

Join us for refreshments and a conversation exploring how culture shapes our understandings of gender and sexuality. This conversation is designed in collaboration with photographer Jenny Irene Miller, the artist behind the "Continuous" exhibit of portraits of Indigenous LGBTQ2 people from around the state.

Community conversations are a space to meet new people and connect around local issues. These events are part of the Kindling Conversation Program

Thank you to Pride Foundation for its generous sponsorship of these conversations!

Alaska Humanities Forum

The Alaska Humanities Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that designs and facilitates experiences to bridge distance and difference – programming that shares and preserves the stories of people and places across our vast state, and explores what it means to be Alaskan.
