From January to April 2023, the Alaska Humanities Forum will be hosting a number of events and programs that fit within Science and Us! The overarching guiding question for Science and Us programming is: what is possible when everyone is a scientist? The events within this programming will dig deeper into threads within this topic; from representation in science to shifting our view of knowledge holding. Science and Us programming will include community conversations, a Culture Shift event, a Speed Date a Scientist event, and an interactive and culminating experience.

Our Kick Off Happy Hour is for anyone interested in meeting our facilitation team, learning about the purpose and approach to this work, meeting other interested participants and partners, and signing up early for any or all of the Science and Us events!

Register for our Kick Off Happy Hour event below!

AKHF: Celebrating 50 Years!

The Alaska Humanities Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that designs and facilitates experiences to bridge distance and difference – programming that shares and preserves the stories of people and places across our vast state, and explores what it means to be Alaskan.
