"Continuous Conversations" receives grant funding from Pride Foundation

Each year, Pride Foundation, headquartered in Seattle with regional offices across the Pacific Northwest, invests in community organizations that are actively addressing the needs of and expanding opportunities for LGBTQ people and their families in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The 2018-19 Pride Foundation Community Grants were recently released, and Alaska Humanities Forum is honored to be a recipient of funding to launch a new project in collaboration with Alaskan photographer Jenny Irene Miller. A couple of colleagues who had gone over the years… I decided to arrange my life around making this happen because I knew from teaching that there were aspects of my students’ lives that I was clueless about.
