Last year, more than 200 people came together to share stories, listen to one another, and celebrate the people and places that make Anchorage home.

We’re doing it again!

Join the Alaska Humanities Forum for an afternoon of storytelling, conversation, music, food, and community. Come hear stories from people across Anchorage and the Tikahtnu Upper Cook Inlet region, share a story of your own, or simply spend some time getting to know your neighbors.

We’ll be gathering stories about this place we call home: where we’ve come from, what life here is like now, and what we hope for its future.

Interested in sharing a story?

We’re looking for storytellers! If you have a story about Anchorage, your community, or your experience of living here that you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re interested in sharing a story, submit your interest here.

More details about the event and registration are coming soon.

Alaska Humanities Forum

The Alaska Humanities Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that designs and facilitates experiences to bridge distance and difference – programming that shares and preserves the stories of people and places across our vast state, and explores what it means to be Alaskan.
