Meet Jennifer Brandt, Executive Director of the Palmer Food Bank. After participating in our Storytelling to Build Community workshop, part of the Strengthening Community Leadership Series, Jennifer crafted a powerful and deeply personal story about what calls her to this work.
This two-day workshop invites participants to explore the roots of their leadership and shape them into a Public Narrative: a Story of Self, a Story of Us, and a Story of Now. Through this process, participants learn how to share their experiences in ways that inspire hope, connection, and collective action.
In the video that follows, Jennifer shares her story with the cohort and offers an invitation for all of us to be part of something larger.
This workshop is made possible with support from the Mat-Su Health Foundation.
The Alaska Humanities Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that designs and facilitates experiences to bridge distance and difference – programming that shares and preserves the stories of people and places across our vast state, and explores what it means to be Alaskan.
