C3 participants and staff gather in Kotzebue in 2025.  

Northwest Arctic Region Ilisautri Program

Culture Camp

C3 teachers attend an orientation with their peers, an in-region culture camp for community youth and Elders, and a debrief to reflect on their experiences. Dates, including orientation, camp, and debrief are as follows:

- Kiana 1: July 20 - July 27, 2026
- Kiana 2: July 27 - August 3, 2026
- Buckland: August 2 - August 9, 2026 

**Teachers will attend summer sessions based on camp availability, school district capacity, and their own schedules.

Midyear Gatherings (MYGs)

There will be two Kotzebue-based in person midyear gatherings for NWABSD C3 teachers during the 2026-27 school year:

- November 13th - 16th, 2026

- February 5th - 8th, 2027
