What world are you creating with the questions you ask?

The Art of Powerful Questions is a highly interactive, two-day workshop designed to sharpen one of the most essential (and often overlooked) skills we use every day: how we ask. Through hands-on practice and real-time reflection, participants will strengthen their ability to ask questions that open doors rather than close them.

Grounded in Appreciative Inquiry and Nonviolent Communication, this experiential workshop invites participants to explore real dilemmas from their personal and professional lives while learning how thoughtful, well-crafted questions can shift perspectives, deepen relationships, and spark new possibilities.

During the workshop, participants will learn to:

  • Understand the power of questions to improve relationships, build community, and unleash creative thinking.

  • Practice crafting questions that build trust and reduce stress, tension, and conflict

  • Learn how to design questions that inspire new ways of thinking and creative problem-solving

  • Explore how powerful questions can motivate deeper engagement in groups and conversations

  • Use powerful questions to reflect deeply on an issue in their lives where they feel stuck.

Participants will experience the difference between surface-level inquiry and meaningful exploration, leaving with practical tools they can use in conversations, meetings, and decision-making spaces of all kinds.

Who Should Attend:
This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to improve how they communicate and connect with others; leaders, educators, facilitators, nonprofit staff, managers, and anyone navigating complex conversations or seeking more thoughtful, effective ways to engage.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the immersive nature of this workshop and the advance costs associated with lodging, meals, and transportation, we ask participants to make a full commitment to attend.

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the workshop will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the workshop are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your registration to another participant at no additional cost (with advance notice). In cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, please reach out - we aim to approach each case with flexibility whenever possible.
