WHERE
Join us for an evening of conversation, storytelling, and connection! 36 Questions for Civic Love is a toolkit designed to connect strangers and strengthen relationships. Originally assembled by the National Public Housing Museum and inspired by psychologist Arthur Aron's exploration of whether intimacy between two strangers could be accelerated through a series of carefully crafted questions, this experience invites participants into a different kind of social experiment.
The original questions have been adapted to help us explore and build civic love.
"Civic love is one's love for society, expressed through a commitment to the common good. It is a belief in the idea that we're all better off, when we are all better off."
Throughout the evening, participants will engage in small-group conversations guided by a series of questions designed to spark reflection, curiosity, and meaningful dialogue. Through listening, storytelling, and shared experiences, we'll explore what connects us and how stronger relationships can contribute to stronger communities.
Coffee and treats will be provided. We hope you'll join us for this opportunity to meet new people, share stories, and participate in an experiment aimed at helping us all fall in civic love.
